This role is central to enabling fast, secure, and reliable software delivery through automation, cloud-native infrastructure, and collaborative practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport build, test, deployment, and monitoring tools and environments in a cloud-hosted infrastructure.\nAssist with software releases, infrastructure management, inventory, installations, configurations, and connectivity.\nMonitor and optimize system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk and ELK Stack.\nCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability.\nEnsure security best practices are integrated into pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps).\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.\nMaintain and modernize legacy systems using cloud-native services and automation.\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Cloud Build and Harness.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.\nDeploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, OpenShift, or GKE, and Cloud Run(Knative)\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or FOUR (4) years of equivalent professional experience in leu of degree\nUS Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a Public Trust government clearance.\nSIX (6) years of industry experience.\nTWO (2+) years as a DevOps Engineer.\nExperience working in a DevOps environment supporting multiple teams/applications.\nProficiency in deploying and troubleshooting Java-based application stacks (NGINX, Apache HTTPD, JAVA JDK, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL).\nStrong understanding of application network configurations (Reverse Proxy, TLS Certificates, DNS, Load Balancers, Routers, Firewalls).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab, Harness preferred).\nHands-on experience deploying applications to Google Cloud and/or Kubernetes (OpenShift, GKE, or EKS).\nProficient with infrastructure and deployment automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, YAML, ArgoCD, HELM).\nSkilled in Git source control (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket), including branching and merge requests.\nExperience with Linux (RHEL 8+).\nFamiliarity with Windows Server (2016+).\nExperience with DataDog, Splunk, Google Logging and monitoring or similar tools.\n\nPreferred/Nice-to-Have Qualifications\n\nProficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, Java) and API usage.\nFederal government experience.\nExperience with deploying AI agentic applications.\nExperience implementing AIOps automation.\nExperience using AI tools (Gemini) for development and QA (code assist).\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nFamiliar with DevSecOps and GitOps best practices.\nEnthusiastic about learning and implementing new technologies.\nTeam-oriented mindset aligned with DevOps culture.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00.
