The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our construction operations, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions for Microsoft Fabric\nCreate secure data connectors to consume API data, handle pagination, rate limiting and authentication\nDevelop and manage data architecture and databases to ensure data accuracy and availability.\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and security across all platforms.\nOptimize data workflows and troubleshoot data-related issues as they arise.\nCollaborate with IT, analytics, and project management teams to support reporting and dashboarding efforts.\nStay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, construction technology, and cloud platforms.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a similar role with Microsoft Fabric.\nKnowledge of data visualization tools such as Power Bi\nProficiency in T-SQL, Python, PySpark and/or other relevant programming languages.\nStrong understanding of ETL pipelines, Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)\nExperience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.\nProblem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nWorking Conditions:\nThe Data Engineer's work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office\nThis role requires regular office hours\nLight physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds\nStanding, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing\n\nAt Brinkmann Constructors, our passion for people means investing in their financial, mental, and physical well-being.
