This role drives continuous improvement, ensures robust process control, and partners cross-functionally to support production, new product introduction, and operational excellence.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers through recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance coaching\nIdentify competency gaps and develop team capabilities aligned with company standards and goals\nStandardize manufacturing strategies and best practices to support new product introductions and sustain mature production lines\nOversee development and maintenance of robust process control plans to ensure product quality and performance\nOptimize process yield, productivity, and throughput through continuous improvement initiatives\nOwn process yield performance and drive improvements through process changes, new technologies, or design for manufacturability\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, IT, and R&D to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost\nSupport new product development activities, including design reviews, prototyping, and validation testing\nLead engineering change management and execution of process improvements\nEnsure proper validation of product and process changes to support smooth operational transitions\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and validation records\nDesign and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment improvements in coordination with suppliers\nPartner with Quality to resolve manufacturing-related customer issues and ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory standards\nMaintain accountability for process quality, BOM control, and adherence to environmental and safety requirements\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)\n7+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or process engineering environment with demonstrated results in process improvement\nMinimum 2 years of experience leading or managing a team\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, electro-mechanical assembly, and process automation\nDeep understanding of process control parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, torque, voltage, etc.)\nProven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills across mechanical, electrical, and process systems\nExperience with continuous improvement methodologies and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab)\nKnowledge of ISO standards, audits, and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100 preferred)\nStrong analytical, organizational, and project management skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to leadership\nSelf-driven, innovative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nThis job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
