Our platform is designed to make that process more systematic, data-driven, and scalable.\r\nRole Overview\r\nWe are hiring a founding Software Engineer to help build and improve the technology platform that powers our sourcing, research, workflow automation, and data infrastructure.\r\nThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone early in their software career who wants to work closely with a small, fast-moving team with potential for outsized outcomes. The role will involve building product features, internal tools, data workflows, AI-enabled automations, and integrations that support our deal sourcing operations.\r\nYou do not need prior private equity or M&A experience. You should be intellectually curious, technically capable, and interested in building practical software that directly supports business outcomes.\r\nIdeal Background\r\nWe are looking for someone with:\r\n• Strong technical fundamentals\r\n• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment\r\n• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\r\n• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teammates\r\n• Interest in AI, automation, data infrastructure, or financial services technology\r\n• High ownership mentality and willingness to learn quickly\r\nRequired Technical Experience:\r\n• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience\r\n• AI-native development with agentic coding assistance\r\n• Python\r\n• TypeScript\r\n• React\r\nHelpful, but not required, additional experience with:\r\n• Agentic AI frameworks including Pydantic AI and Claude Agent SDK\r\n• Data scraping, cleaning, enrichment, and validation methodology\r\nWhat Makes This Role Different\r\nThis is not a narrow engineering role inside a large company. You will work directly on systems used by the business every day, with a clear line between what you build and the impact it creates.\r\nYou will get exposure to:\r\n• Private equity and M&A workflows\r\n• AI-enabled sourcing and market research\r\n• Data-driven business development\r\n• Early-stage product development\r\n• Building software inside a high-velocity, founder-led company\r\nCompensation\r\nCompensation will be based on experience and fit.
