Responsibilities include operating machinery to produce components according to specifications for the automotive industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process.\n\nShifts Available: 2nd, 3rd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm Mon-Fri) (10:00pm - 6:00am Mon-Fri)\nResponsibilities\nMaintain a safe and clean work area per 6S standards.\nRefer unusual or unsafe conditions to supervisor.\nKnow appropriate level of shop math as required.\nRead and understand blueprints.\nInspect work produced and show a genuine interest in producing quality work.\nHave the common tools of the trade.\nOperate and maintain two (2) machines with high standards of quality and quantity.\nOperate and maintain ancillary equipment such as, loader(s) (bar loaders) and wash(s) (rinse, wash, rust inhibit) with high standards of quality and quantity.\nHand load and hand pack.\nRemove, regrind, replace and adjust tools and holders.\nTake full chip carts to processing area and bring empty chip carts back to machines.\nPerform minor machine maintenance. (Planned Operator Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance).\nRecognize problems, correct them and make recommendations on how to prevent them to your supervisor or support engineer. (Machine, Material, Tool).\nPerform minor machine repairs and adjustments, with assistance.\nPrepare machine for set-up, (collets, pushers, cams, gears with assistance.\nMaintain Proper documentation and communication to ensure efficient coordination between shifts and departments (e.g. quality, engineering, maintenance).\nOrient when requested by supervisor.\nLead when mutually agreed.\nComply with all Quality Management System procedures and work instructions.\nPerform other related duties as requested by supervisor.\n\nIn addition to hourly rate, employees are eligible for a quarterly bonus.\nPay rate is commensurate with the candidate's experience.\n\nEOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran\nVarious agencies of the United States Government require employers to maintain information on applicants pertaining to factors such as race, sex, and type of position for which an individual applies.
