May load or unload trucks as required. Operates under specific detailed instructions. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving, maintaining records, and transporting in warehouse.\nJob Responsibilities:\nUnload and load delivery trucks.\nVerify inventory locations, quantities, size, etc. as needed.\nVerify/enter all raw material receipts into warehouse inventory program and tag freight as needed.\nVerify/receive FedEx/UPS shipments into warehouse inventory program and deliver as needed.\nPull and process daily shipments per picking routes.\nPrepare all associated paperwork - BOL, packing slip, COA, pallet labels.\nCombine/separate product into new pallets.\nIdentify warehouse inventory program issues and work with depts. to get them corrected.\nMonitor fork-lift fleet for maintenance issues.\nLocate and pull shipments for transfers to/from White Bluff.\nService printing press timely with material to minimize press down times.\nTransport finished goods to warehouse for shipping or storage in overhead racks.\nMaintain and accurately document job numbers, counts, weight, destinations, etc.\nResponsible for compliance with all regulatory, facility food safety, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs) policies and procedures.\nMust be able to be forklift certified.\nOperate Forklifts in a safe manner.\nAssist with mounting plates.\nAssist in packing line, ex. Help pack product, cut cores/plastic, keep area clean and organized and supplies stocked as needed.\nQualifications:\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent.\nMust have one to three years of relevant warehouse experience.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.\nExperience with bar –code inventory systems.\nMust demonstrate the ability to work in fast paced environment often with shipping deadlines.\nMust have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form.\nMust have good math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurements, volume, and other quantities.\nEssential Functions:\nCoordinate with warehouse manager and supervise and assist in daily warehouse duties.\nMust be able to safely operate a forklift while performing such tasks as loading, and unloading trucks, transferring loads to and from the warehouse, stacking skids and placing material in racks.\nMust be able to safely relocate heavy items in a timely manner by either physical or mechanical means.\nMust have reading, writing and general math skills, which permit employee to read press or bag machine orders, material labels and select correct material for production in correct quantities.\nMust be able to comprehend and follow detailed instructions without constant supervision.\nMust have maturity and disposition to operate safely.\nMust have organizational skills to correctly locate or place material in warehouse, to account for materials in transition from one area of warehouse to another and calculate material use by production. Must be able to record this information for accounting.\nReflexes must be in excellent condition for quick response time on moving machinery. Employees must be able to react to rapidly moving parts to avoid serious injury to him/her. Employees must be always completely alert to operate forklift in a proper manner.\nMust inspect materials entering warehouse for any defects and use judgment whether to accept these materials.
