Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic

Part-Time Firefighter/ParamedicThe Village of Jackson, located in Washington County, WI is seeking a Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team. The position involves performing a variety of technical, administrative, and supervisory work in inspecting buildings, facilities, and property for fire hazards and compliance; conducting departmental and community education; and performing emergency response. Essential duties and responsibilities include providing emergency medical services, emergency response, fire inspections, team management, public fire education and public information, and miscellaneous duties. Education and experience required include Wisconsin Certified Fire Fighter I, Licensed State of Wisconsin Paramedic, preferred Certified Driver/Operator-Pumper, and experience in fire and EMS work. Within one year of hire, the employee must complete Certified Driver/Operator-Pumper training and within two years, Wisconsin Certified Firefighter 2 training. The Village of Jackson does not offer benefits with this position.
