This role combines business analysis, data analytics, and web development, with a focus on creating scalable, user-friendly internal applications.\r\nKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintaininternal analytical tools and dashboardsfor WMA users and stakeholders.\r\nBuild single-page applications (SPAs)using frameworks such asReactand component libraries such asTailwind, Material UI, or similar.\r\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and intuitive workflows.\r\nUseSQLand/orPolarsto support reporting, analysis, and application data needs.\r\nSupport testing, deployment, andCI/CDprocesses for reliable delivery.\r\nImprove existing dashboards and tools for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.\r\nPartner with stakeholders to improve workflows, reporting, and operational visibility.\r\nQualifications:2–5+ years of experience in web development, analytics, or related technical roles.\r\nExperience with web development frameworks such as React, HTML, CSS and the JavaScript language.\r\nExpertise in constructing and processing complex SQL queries. Working knowledge of relational databases. (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)\r\nExcellent debugging and problem solving skills.\r\nClear communication and presentation skills.\r\nProficiency in at least one general purpose programming language from Python, Java, and C++.\r\nUnderstanding of database design, index structures and stored procedures.\r\nExperience with building middleware services (REST/JSON), caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems.\r\nA solid background in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting.\r\nExperience in DevOps: thorough knowledge in one webserver (Apache/NGINX/Tomcat), monitoring and load balancing tools.\r\nExperience with job schedulers (i.e. airflow, cron).\r\nFinance Experience is not required.\r\nPay Transparency:WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits.\r\nTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
