The ideal candidate will bridge development and operations, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines, system reliability, and adherence to federal security standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for high availability and scalabilityImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflowsManage containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesEnsure system security, compliance, and governance aligned with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST)Monitor system performance, availability, and incident response using observability toolsAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Collaborate with development, security, and data teams to streamline deployment processesManage configuration, patching, and environment consistency across systemsSupport disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planningDocument processes, architecture, and operational proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)6–10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability EngineeringStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred)Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Understanding of networking, security, and system administrationExperience working in regulated or compliance-driven environmentsKey CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in cross-functional teamsExcellent documentation and communication skillsFocus on automation, reliability, and securityNice-to-HaveExperience with AI/ML infrastructure pipelinesExposure to zero-trust architecture or advanced cybersecurity practices
