In this role, you will design, code, test, debug and document platform independent (Windows, OS X, Linux) GUI applications software, support activities for the corporate systems architecture. You will work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications, as well as develop, enhance, modify and/or maintain applications.\n\nThis role can either be remote or hybrid, reporting to our Niles, IL Corporate HQ.\n\nResponsibilities:\nSoftware development using agile development methodologies.\nWorks on cross-functional development teams to design and implement platform independent GUI application software that controls and manages cutting edge audio products and networking technologies\nCollaborates with marketing, test and system engineering to define platform independent GUI application software use cases and requirements.\nDevelops GUI application software using Typescript and Angular.\nCommunicate effectively with various stakeholders across technology and the business\nResearches new platform independent GUI application software technologies and IDEs, and assists with the integration into Company software development processes.\nFunction as part of a as part of a high-performance team, working on high priority deliverables\nEstimates, organizes, and documents tasks\nSolve real problems and adding value to the business.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field\nDevelopment experience with Javascript and Typescript along with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, preferably with Angular\nExperience with the application of key software design principles such as separation of concerns, high cohesion and low coupling to facilitate reuse and maintainability in software architectures, designs and implementations\nExperience with software development tools (IDEs).\nExperience with software version control and release, preferably with git.\nHas a full understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures.\nAble to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors\nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope.\nUnderstanding of operating system fundamentals.\nUser interface development for application software a plus.\nUnderstanding of software development processes such as continuous testing and continuous integration.\n\nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
