Paving Foreman
Job Summary
Seeking experienced paving foreman for roadway paving and runway construction on military installations and federal highway construction projects. The foreman will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans while making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel. The foreman is expected to complete all duties and responsibilities with reasonable accommodations if necessary. Bell Contracting Inc does not pay for relocation expenses.
Primary duties and responsibilities include,
Manage and lead the production crew daily.
Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
Regularly reporting project status to Project Managers.
Manage and monitor attendance and work for laborers.
Supervise and train new laborers.
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
Meet or exceed project delivery timelines.
Ensure projects stay within budget and allotted man hours.
Conduct safety meetings with the crew regularly.
Verify delivery tickets against materials and equipment delivered.
Submit delivery tickets to the office weekly.
Oversee daily maintenance of equipment.
Submit detailed daily production reports electronically in the company tracking software.
Job Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
