About Hi-De Liners
Since 1993, Hi-De Liners has been manufacturing High Density and Linear Low Density Polyethylene products that include liners, sleeves, sheeting and tubing. All products are manufactured in the USA at our Orange, MA facility.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing and facilities equipment. There will be a 2–4-week training period during which you will work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. After training, you will move to your designated 12-hour shift. This is a full-time day shift position on-site at the Hi-De Liners facility in Orange, MA.

What you’ll do:
Complete routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility equipment.
Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Work safely following all safety procedures.
Ensure that all work areas are clean and orderly.
Complete work orders on time.
Communicate with Maintenance Manager regarding assigned tasks.
Cover shifts for other employees when they use their paid time off.
Occasionally serve on the on-call list.
Shovel snow and salt walkways as necessary.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or related field. (automotive, marine, aircraft, HVAC/R etc.)
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must have problem solving skills.
Ability to take directions from supervisors.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing ladders, reaching, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Bonus points for:
· Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints.
· Electric, hydraulic and/or pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
· Experience running manual machine shop tools such as milling machines and lathes.
· Welding/fabrication experience.
· Trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC/R etc.
