As a member of the APTD SWA team, you will contribute to advancing innovative packaging technologies while working in a collaborative and rewarding environment.\n\nThe Module Engineer On Shift (MEOS) is responsible for providing real-time factory support to address equipment, process, and product issues, ensuring continuous 24/7 lot movement through the manufacturing line. This role supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues, performing error recovery, managing lot disposition, enabling new tools, and executing a variety of operational activities within the assigned area.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\nReceive written and verbal shift pass-downs from the outgoing shift and align priorities with management.\nSpend the majority of the shift on the factory floor supporting equipment and process-related issues while creating and updating specifications and Requests for Change (RFCs) as needed.\nExecute non-standard procedures and perform panel inspections and imaging activities to collect development data.\nCommunicate critical issues and updates to tool owners, lot owners, and other stakeholders.\nProvide thorough written and verbal shift pass-downs to incoming shift personnel to ensure seamless operational continuity.\nSupport new tool qualification and enablement activities.\nAssist with lot disposition decisions and process recovery actions to maintain production flow.\n\nDesired Qualifications and Behavioral Traits\n\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:\n\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams, factory personnel, and customers.\nFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing changing priorities.\nStrong organizational skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach.\nCommitment to achieving both individual and team objectives.\n\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\n\nQualifications:\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline, along with 2+ years of experience in a combination of lithography, exposure mask processes, wet etch processes, and dry etch processes.\n\nOR\n\nMaster's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline, along with 1+ year of experience in a combination of lithography, exposure mask processes, wet etch processes, and dry etch processes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with statistical data analysis, process characterization, and manufacturing quality systems.\nExperience applying Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies and Statistical Process Control (SPC).\nKnowledge of manufacturing process control and reliability testing.\nExperience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, or packaging substrate development.\nFamiliarity with metrology tool recipe development, optimization, and troubleshooting.\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\nKnowledge of factory operations and continuous process improvement methodologies.\n\nJoin a team where innovation meets impact.
