{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"29ca8cc2e70f159aa7e0589f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/29ca8cc2e70f159aa7e0589f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/29ca8cc2e70f159aa7e0589f","title":"Assistant Resident Engineer","description":"Assistant Resident Engineer – Water Division Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) with 10 years of experience to join our Water Division as part of our construction management team on the SFPUC Biosolids Project in San Francisco, CA.\nAccountabilities Work with CM Team members to manage day‑to‑day extension of staff services for construction on the $2.4B project.\nAssist the Resident Engineer (RE) in managing change order review and response and preparation for testing, start‑up, commissioning and acceptance of all facility equipment and systems.\nCoordinate with other projects within the Southeast Plant; prepare general correspondence, reports, and deliverables; coordinate inspection staff; act as liaison to the design team.\nProvide technical reviews of construction plans and specifications and project changes for merit; monitor contractor performance, schedule, responsiveness and effectiveness.\nAttend meetings with client managers and lead meetings as assigned.\nAssist the RE in reviewing and processing contractor payments and lead meetings, and other responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience Prior experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer on water/wastewater projects.\nBachelor of Science degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.\nPrevious or current experience working with SFPUC.\n10 years’ experience with at least 5 years of Assistant Resident Engineering.\nEngineer in Training is preferred.\nProfessional Engineer – California (active) is highly preferred.\nCCM is highly preferred.\nDemonstrated commitment to providing a safe and healthful workplace.\nProficiency with MS Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).\nActive participation in regional or national professional associations.\nInterest and ability to network, support proposals and contribute to the firm’s growth in the NorCal construction market.\nBenefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage.\nEAP.\n401K.\nSTD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance.\nPaid parental leave.\nReward & recognition program.\nOptional wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement.\n9 paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year.\nSalary range: $150,000 - $195,000.\nEqual Opportunity Employment Arcadis is an equal opportunity employer and a firm of affirmative action.
