Senior International Tax AnalystPosition SummaryA global organization is seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst to join its Tax function. This role supports international tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities while contributing to ongoing process and technology improvements. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and is well suited for a professional who thrives in a fast‐paced, evolving environment and is eager to continue developing within international tax..Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review U.S. international tax calculations, including but not limited to:GILTISubpart FForeign tax creditsWithholding taxfor U.S. corporate income tax returns and ASC 740 (U.S. GAAP) reporting.Coordinate annual U.S. international tax compliance for non‐U.S. entities, including:Data collection and analysis of legal entity financialsEarnings & Profits calculationsPreparation and review of Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 5472, 8990–8993 and related U.S. reporting schedules.Support non‐U.S. local statutory tax compliance by:Coordinating with regional finance teams and external tax advisorsReviewing local tax returns and supporting workpapersManaging quarterly income tax payable reconciliationsMaintaining deferred tax asset and liability balances.Contribute to cross‐border restructuring and special projects, including:Building Excel‐based tax modelsPreparing tax cost projectionsCompiling transaction documentation.Monitor changes in U.S. and international tax legislation and summarize technical developments and potential impacts.Manage interactions with external advisors, including deliverable review, deadline tracking, and technical review.Support tax process improvements and technology initiatives, such as:Workpaper standardizationProcess automationData optimization.Assist with tax authority inquiries and internal stakeholder requests, including audit support and preparation of documentation.Provide day‐to‐day oversight of junior team members or interns.Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required3+ years of international tax experience required.Background in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax environment preferred.Experience with:Corporate tax compliance and provision systemsFinancial consolidation toolsCloud‐based document management platformsAutomation or analytics tools (e.g., Excel Power Query, Alteryx, or similar).Technical Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of U.S. federal income taxation, particularly international tax concepts.Solid knowledge of financial statements and related disclosures.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.Self‐starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
