Medical Assistant

Some Duties Include:
Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Administer Immunizations
Lab procedures: strep test, flu test, urinalysis
Obtain patient history
Assist with medication refills
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and documentation
Phone triage
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting, pediatrics experience a plus.
Familiarity with coding and documentation practices in a healthcare setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
