This role will also use knowledge of programming languages to design other software programs in support of business needs. Working with clients, including internal, to determine their software needs, coding and testing software to ensure functionality and updating software programs to refine components like cybersecurity measures and data storage capacities.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS\r\nUse ServiceNow expertise to design, develop, and implement solutions based on user requirements and specifications.\r\nWrite clean, scalable, and efficient code using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Java Script.\r\nDesign algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.\r\nResponsible for ensuring work is performed in compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements, as applicable.\r\nProduce efficient code based on requirements.\r\nTest and deploy programs and applications.\r\nTroubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software applications. Conduct testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring the software is functional and meets quality standards.\r\nWork closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and define project scope. Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.\r\nCreate, maintain technical documentation for software applications, including user manuals and system architecture descriptions.\r\nObserve user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
