The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating document review workflows, maintaining project records, and ensuring timely distribution of RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.\nThis role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced engineering, construction, or consulting environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the full lifecycle of project documentation, including receipt, distribution, tracking, filing, and archiving.\nCoordinate and distribute RFIs, submittals, transmittals, drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.\nMonitor document review timelines and proactively follow up with reviewers to ensure project deadlines are met.\nMaintain accurate document registers and project records within document management systems.\nAdminister collaborative review processes using Bluebeam Studio Sessions and other review platforms.\nSupport project teams with document control procedures, workflows, and best practices.\nPerform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.\nPrepare and issue transmittals and information exchanges to clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.\nGenerate project reporting and metrics related to RFIs, submittals, document status, and review performance.\nAssist with onboarding and mentoring junior document controllers.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of document control standards and procedures.\nCoordinate closely with project managers, technical disciplines, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and document management.\nProvide coverage for fellow Document Controllers during planned and unplanned absences, including vacation, sick leave, and other time away from work, ensuring continuity of project support and adherence to document control service levels.\nSupport cross-training initiatives to ensure effective backup coverage across projects and document management systems.\nMinimum 7 years of document control experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, water, industrial, or related industries.\nStrong understanding of document control principles, revision management, and records management practices.\nExperience supporting large multidisciplinary engineering or construction projects.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with one or more of the following systems:\nAconex (required)\nAutodesk Construction Cloud (required)\nSharePoint (required)\nProcore\nProjectWise\nBluebeam Revu / Bluebeam Studio\ne-Builder\nKey Competencies\nLeadership and mentoring\nProblem solving and critical thinking\nCustomer service orientation\nCollaboration and teamwork\nProcess improvement mindset\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required.
