As the Lead, you will oversee your assigned team and area in the warehouse to ensure our operations continue to run smoothly. Become a part of GXO, and you’ll have a starring role in helping us provide exceptional daily solutions for our customers.\n\nPay, benefits and more.\nWe are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.\n\nWhat you’ll do on a typical day:\nOversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time\nReview workload and assign tasks to employees\nProperly train and coach the warehouse team and provide positive developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvement actions as needed\nCorrectly utilize warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents\nEstablish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service\nCorrectly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance\nSafely operate various equipment and tools\nProvide support and backup to warehouse management\nTrack orders and investigate problems\nCatalog and track goods and/or supplies\nAdhere to the 7S program by maintaining a clean environment\nWork in a safe manner that protects you and your team members\nWhat you need to succeed at GXO:\nAt a minimum, you’ll need:\n2 years of experience in a warehouse environment\n1 year of SAP experience\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners\nIt’d be great if you also have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAvailability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends\n1 year of experience as a supervisor\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nSkills in inventory control and cycle counting\nThis job requires the ability to:\nLift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally\nTake a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet\nCarry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinely\nStand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours\nWalk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day\nBend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.\nTolerate hot and cold work environments\nWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.\n\nGXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
