The role drives performance by overseeing inspections, documentation, and product verification processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor develops and coaches QA personnel, ensures audit readiness, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nLead the QA team to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals\r\nDevelop, coach, and train QA technicians to enhance skill sets and support career growth\r\nImplement corrective actions and conduct performance management activities, including counseling, planning, and appraising direct reports\r\nMaintain and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SSOP program documentation\r\nRecord QA and production documentation accurately and on time\r\nGenerate and maintain relevant QA and production reports\r\nDelegate and coordinate day-to-day assignments to QA personnel\r\nPerform verification and release of pre-shipment product approvals\r\nConduct SWAB verifications on equipment during pre-op and production\r\nEnsure all samples for chemical and microbiological testing are properly collected and analyzed\r\nRecommend new processes, equipment, and procedures to improve operational efficiency\r\nMaintain strict compliance with all safety and food quality standards across operations\r\nPrepare customer-requested samples for new or existing product lines\r\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management\r\nWhat You Need to Succeed\r\nHigh School diploma or GED (associate's degree preferred)\r\nMinimum 6 months experience in food safety or quality assurance\r\nMinimum 6 months experience in a supervisory position\r\nRecognized leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills\r\nExcellent communication, written and oral, and customer service relationship skills\r\nAnalytical skills\r\nIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nCold storage facility (36-38°F)\r\nExposure to loud noise\r\nCapable of lifting 50 lbs. or more\r\nBe Part of Something Fresh\r\nIf you're looking for a stable and rewarding career with a company that values its team members, WP Rawl is the place for you!\r\nApply today and take the next step in your career with WP Rawl!\r\nWP Rawl is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
