Centuria is honored to have been awarded this distinction.\n\nProgram Description:\n\nCenturia Corporation is seeking an Electronics/Electrical Engineer II to support the\n\nNational Weather Service (NWS) Radar Operations Center (ROC) in Norman, OK. This role supports engineering initiatives across radar systems and associated electrical and electronic subsystems critical to the NEXRAD network.\n\nThe selected candidate will contribute to the Engineering Branch by supporting system analysis, testing, performance evaluation, and technical documentation efforts. This position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and advancement of radar and electronic systems supporting national weather operations.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform analysis, evaluation, and testing of electrical, electronic, and power system designs and performance\nSupport development of engineering prototypes, technical studies, and design improvements\nProduce and maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, and design specifications\nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with radar and electronic systems and equipment\nApply engineering practices and procedures to support system design, integration, and lifecycle sustainment\nSupport testing activities to validate system functionality, reliability, and performance\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and field engineering personnel\nParticipate in feasibility and performance analysis for system upgrades and modifications\nSupport compliance with engineering standards, safety practices, and program requirements\n\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline is desired. Alternate technical degrees may be\n\nconsidered based on relevant experience and qualifications\n\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience providing electronics or electrical engineering services.\nExperience analyzing and testing electrical, power, and electronic systems\nExperience producing engineering prototypes, studies, and technical documentation\nKnowledge of standard engineering practices, principles, and procedures\n\nAbility to interpret technical documentation and apply it to system analysis and design\nFamiliarity with laboratory and diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills\nWillingness to support testing, integration, and field-related engineering efforts\nAbility to travel as required\n\nPreferred / Highly Desired Qualifications:\nSpecialized experience with radar systems and associated electronic equipment\nKnowledge of radar principles, signal processing, and system performance analysis\nExperience working with complex electronic or RF-based systems\nFamiliarity with system-level integration and evaluation of radar or communications equipment\n\nGreat-to-Have Experience:\nExposure to weather radar systems or NEXRAD architecture\nExperience supporting federal or DoD engineering programs\nFamiliarity with test planning, verification, and validation processes\nExperience using engineering analysis or modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW)\nHands-on experience with electronic system assembly, integration, or field support\n\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
