Pittsburgh provides a vibrant community with a rich cultural scene, making it an ideal place for both professional growth and personal enjoyment.Key HighlightsJoin a department total of 131 Pathologists with 4 in the clinical chemistry labProvides technical directorship of the clinical laboratories to ensure regulatory compliance and quality patient test results within an integrated multi-hospital clinical chemistry service.Provide on call attending responsibilities including clinical consultations for physician and healthcare providers regarding test results and interpretations. Actively participate in Divisional educational activitiesPursue basic/clinical/translational research. Laboratory-based investigations and entrepreneurial efforts are supportable based on prior accomplishments.Develops and delivers educational content for medical students, residents, fellows, and laboratory staff both within the formal Clinical Chemistry rotation, elective teaching, informal teaching, and mentoring settings.
