Securities Operations Specialist II

What You'll DoPrincipal is seeking a Securities Operations Specialist II to join our Principal Custody Solutions (PCS) team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, this may be the position for you!As a Securities Operations Specialist II, you will perform a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.Here are some examples of the kinds of things you'll do:Manage complex securities activitiesDifferentiate, process, and reconcile transactionsResearch inquiries and resolve customer complaints for internal partners and/or clients and investment managersReview time critical and/or complex documentsCoordinate situations involving multiple departmentsProvide department level reporting using multiple sourcesDay-to-day income and entitlements processingProvide training and support to team members, offer guidance, and assist with updating procedures and process improvementsBack-up other desks and work under minimal supervisionOperating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$24.86 - $33.31 / hourTime Off ProgramPersonal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period.
