Our core values are Ownership, Harmony, and Scale, and we look for Passionate, Kind, and No-Ego team members to join the team.The RoleAs Pointr’s Head of People & Culture in the US, you will be the senior owner of our global people function and the strategic partner to our CEO and leadership team. You will set and execute the people strategy that carries Pointr from 150 people through its next phase of growth — building the systems, the culture, and the team that match the company’s ambition.This is both a strategic and a hands-on role. You will oversee the full spectrum of people work — talent acquisition, total rewards, performance, learning and development, employee experience, and people operations — while leading a globally distributed team across geographies. You will bring cohesion across cultures, time zones, and stages of maturity, and you will be a daily collaborator with our CEO.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategy & leadershipBe the trusted thought partner to the CEO and the leadership team on organizational design, headcount planning, talent strategy, and culture.Lead the development and execution of Pointr's global people strategy, aligning it with business goals across the US, UK, Turkey, and other geographies.Lead, coach, and develop a distributed people team across multiple cultures and time zones.Talent acquisitionOwn the talent acquisition function end-to-end: hiring plans, sourcing strategy, recruiter performance, agency partnerships, and candidate experience for both technical and GTM roles.People operations & total rewardsBuild scalable people operations, HRIS, compensation, and total rewards programs that work across multiple countries and employment models.Performance & developmentRun a performance management framework that supports career progression, clear feedback, and high standards across every team.Develop role-based competency frameworks, leveling, and personal development plans so every team member has clarity on growth.Engagement & cultureDrive employee engagement through pulse surveys, listening forums, manager training, and cultural programs that strengthen connections across geographies.Be a culture carrier — model Pointr's values (Ownership, Harmony, Scale) and reinforce them in every hiring, performance, and recognition decision.ComplianceOwn HR compliance and risk across US states and our international entities, partnering with legal and external counsel as needed.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of progressive HR / People experience, with at least 3 years as the senior people leader at a fast-growing tech company (ideally B2B SaaS, 100–300 person scale).Proven experience as a strategic partner to a CEO or founder — comfortable in the boardroom and in the day-to-day.Demonstrated success building and leading global, distributed people teams across multiple cultures (US plus Europe or EMEA strongly preferred).Deep expertise across the full people stack: talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance, L&D, employee relations, and HRIS.Hands-on familiarity with modern people tools across HRIS, engagement, and ATS platforms (we currently use Sage HR, Culture Amp, and Ashby, but equivalent platforms are welcome).Strong commercial acumen — fluent in headcount planning, budget management, and translating people decisions into business outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communicator who moves easily between executive presence and hands-on problem-solving.Massachusetts and multi-state US employment knowledge required; international employment exposure (Turkey, UK, EU) strongly preferred.Experience scaling people functions through funding rounds, M&A, or rapid headcount growth.Passion for building inclusive, high-performing cultures across geographies.What We Offer?Supportive, kind (no-ego), and smart teamHybrid work (2 days being in the office is required)International environment and inclusive cultureCompetitive base salary and attractive stock optionsCool and comfortable office in Boston (Back Bay) or access to WeWork in other locationsPrivate health care (75%) and DentalCompany-sponsored parental leave18 days PTO, plus sick time + 12 holidays per year401(k) retirement schemeCompensation: $145k Base + Bonus + Stock Options
