This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Fort Mill, SC (Remote).We are seeking an experienced Policy & Procedures Consultant to support a large-scale policy governance and servicing transformation initiative. This individual will play a key role in converting approximately 500 policies and procedures (P&Ps) into a new governance system while updating documentation to reflect the implementation of a new servicing platform.The ideal candidate will possess strong compliance, controls, and policy governance experience within the financial services industry, along with exceptional technical writing and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required.5+ years of experience in compliance, controls, policy governance, risk management, or policy/procedure development.Financial services industry experience required.Demonstrated experience managing or supporting large-scale policy and procedure initiatives.Advanced technical writing, editing, and documentation skills.Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, and operational risk management.Ability to identify and document process risks and controls effectively.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and policy governance/document management systems.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree preferred.Experience supporting servicing system conversions or major operational transformations.Familiarity with policy governance platforms and workflow tools.Experience working in highly regulated environments.Responsibilities:Lead the conversion and migration of approximately 500 policies and procedures into a new policy management/governance system.Review, revise, and update policies and procedures to align with a new servicing system implementation and related operational changes.Partner closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, compliance teams, risk partners, and operational leaders to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and current.Provide compliance and controls oversight throughout the policy conversion and update process.Identify, document, and validate key controls embedded within policies and procedures.Ensure policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and governance expectations.Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for standardization, clarification, and process improvement.Maintain consistency in formatting, terminology, version control, and governance standards across all documentation.Track project progress, deliverables, and issue resolution timelines to support the successful execution of the initiative.Support policy approval, review, and governance workflows within the new system.Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $71.43/hour to $71.43/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.Solugenix will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and Ordinance.
