Located in Hudson, MA, the company takes pride in building lasting relationships and offering durable, aesthetically pleasing solutions.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Hudson, MA, for a Director of Pool Construction and Operations. The individual will oversee all aspects of pool construction and operations, including the execution of design plans, budget management, procurement of materials, and coordination with contractors and crew members. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leveraging expertise in civil engineering and construction to create innovative and durable results. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure client satisfaction on every project.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project OversightEnd-to-End Management: Oversee all pool projects from pre-construction through final closeout.Execution: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with design plans.Resource Coordination: Manage scheduling, subcontractors, and resource allocation to maintain peak efficiency.Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve potential project risks or delays.Client Engagement & Business GrowthPrimary Liaison: Act as the lead contact for residential and commercial pool clients.Consultation: Lead project scoping, estimating, and proposal development.Division Strategy: Partner with executive leadership to set growth goals and expand our footprint in the New England market.Process Design: Build and implement scalable workflows and performance metrics.Team LeadershipTalent Development: Hire, train, and mentor team members as the division expands.Accountability: Provide clear structure and leadership for both field crews and project teams.QualificationsPool Construction Expertise: Extensive experience in the field, with a strong preference for gunite expertise.Leadership: Proven track record managing construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.Financial Acumen: Strong skills in budgeting, cost management, and project estimating.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Procurement: Proficiency in sourcing quality materials and managing vendor relationships.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety standards, quality assurance, and construction compliance.Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex client relationships.Adaptability: Willingness to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in the field as needed.
