The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of managing cross-functional programs.\nIn this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing contractor engineering teams, tracking progress, and owning day-to-day execution through Jira. You are skilled at cross-team coordination, agile project management, and translating complex technical details into clear, actionable plans. You will provide critical TPM support across two of our major, high-priority company programs.\n\nPlease note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager to be considered for this role.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITY\nProgram Execution: Drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technical initiatives, keeping timelines aligned and transparent.\nContractor Engineering Management: Directly manage and coordinate day-to-day tasks for contractor engineering teams, ensuring clear requirements, unblocked workflows, and timely delivery.\nJira & Agile Operations: Own and maintain Jira boards, handling ticket creation, grooming, sprint planning, and meticulous status tracking. Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) as needed.\nCross-Program Support: Provide dedicated TPM support across two of our primary foundational programs (focusing on identity/access management and core system migrations).\nStakeholder Communication: Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, communicating project status, risks, and mitigation plans transparently to engineering leadership and cross-functional partners.\nRisk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate technical and scheduling risks, establishing clear path-to-green plans to keep projects on track.\n\nEXPERIENCE\n5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar technical delivery role, ideally within an enterprise or infrastructure engineering environment.\nTechnical Background: Solid technical acumen or equivalent practical experience.\nAgile & Tools Expert: Deep, hands-on expertise in Jira and a strong understanding of agile methodologies.\nTeam Coordination: Previous experience managing, tracking, and leading contractor or globally distributed engineering teams.\nCommunication: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical details and high-level project status.\nMust be a proactive, highly organized team player who can adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English\nExcellent organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills\nInitiative and drive to do great things\n\nABOUT THE COMPANY/BENEFITS\nPlan A Technologies is an American software development and technology advisory firm that brings top-tier engineering talent to clients around the world.
