What We Do As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support adults in residential and community settings, assisting with daily living skills, personal care, community engagement, and goal development. Qualifications: Minimum 18 years of age, required High School Diploma/GED/HiSet (or equivalent) Valid and Active Drivers Licenseand Valid and Active Auto Insurance (name must be listed on the policy documents) Authorized to Work in the United States Responsibilities and Duties: Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their personalized care plans. Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect for individuals. Engage individuals in meaningful social, recreational, and community activities to enhance their quality of life. Administer medication and assist with medical appointments as needed, following proper protocols and procedures. Document individual progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately and timely in accordance with agency policies. Maintain logs and records pertaining to individuals supported.
