Debug Technician - Electronics & PCBA TroubleshootingLocation: Austin, TXShift: Tuesday-Saturday | 3:30 PM - 12:00 AMPay: $25-$26/hour + 12% Shift DifferentialWe are seeking an experienced Debug Technician to support advanced electronics manufacturing and testing operations in Austin, TX. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical assemblies, including system-level diagnostics and PCBA component debugging for high-tech equipment.This position supports a major technology account and is ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, networking systems, and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical assemblies at the system and component levelDiagnose issues involving PCBAs, networking equipment, switches, and related electronic systemsOperate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes and diagnostic toolsAssist with installation, validation, and debugging of manufacturing process equipmentCollaborate with engineering teams on product functionality, troubleshooting procedures, and process improvementsDevelop and maintain debug guides and technical documentation for PCBA troubleshootingTrack equipment yields, cycle rates, and productivity metricsProvide technical guidance and training to assemblers and other debug techniciansFollow all safety procedures and maintain accurate records and documentationQualifications:Minimum 2 years of debug, electronics repair, or PCBA troubleshooting experience requiredStrong system-level troubleshooting skills for electronic assemblies and networking equipmentExperience using oscilloscopes and electronic test equipmentAbility to read schematics and diagnose component-level failuresStrong communication and teamwork skillsManufacturing or electronics production environment experience preferredThis is not an entry-level role.
