TKE – move beyond.\nWhat we expect\nThe first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!\nTK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nLead an international and cross functional team of requirements engineers, software developers, and software testers to develop and maintain embedded software for elevator systems.\nOversee all phases of the software product development lifecycle – requirements definition, implementation, testing, validation, and maintenance/field support.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, with full scope and no critical defects.\nPrioritize team member tasks and assign tickets to the team. Review, prioritize, and assign tickets related to field support and bug resolution.\nWork directly with the engineering manager, business leadership, chief engineers, software architects, and project management to assess feasibility, viability, and risks of proposed technical innovations or proposed product features in terms of functionality for new products and improving existing products.\nProactively work with other team leads and managers to ensure projects and products meet business needs, are delivered on time, within budget, and have no critical defects.\nWork in an environment where tasks and priorities change regularly.\nDrive continuous improvement within the team.\nWork with the software architect to ensure designs are well architected and any code changes maintain the architecture.\nProvide regular updates to the engineering manager and project manager.\nEnsure team members have a clear understanding of overall project strategy, key business drivers, and project priorities.\nEnsure design standards and all applicable elements of development processes are applied.
