Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers' critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.\r\nJob Summary & ResponsibilitiesTo coordinate the On-time Shipment of Tools by helping to provide the right material, in the right quantities, at the right time from the right source.\r\nKey Responsibilities/Accountabilities:\r\nShortage Handling and Reporting\r\nExpediting Material\r\nIncreasing the throughput and efficiency of material flow to the shop floor\r\nOn time delivery performance improvement\r\nManaging Bottlenecks/ De-bottlenecking\r\nConstraints Management in the Tool Building Process\r\nBalancing the flow of materials through the entire supply chain\r\nAssisting in coordinating the priority for hot work orders to be picked\r\nTracking work orders and resolving issues with missing materials\r\nIdentification of gate operations and expediting the operation\r\nProactively analyzing the potential show-stoppers and escalating issues to the appropriate level to initiate necessary actions to ease the situation\r\nHelping in the Tool Configuration Change Handling\r\nEstablishing a working line of communication and good working relationship with the Planning team, Production Team, Purchasing Team, Warehousing Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control.\r\nProviding recommendations to avoid Bottlenecks\r\nMajor Challenges:\r\nBeing flexible in accommodating the changes, Timely response to changes, Expedition of Parts, Understanding Customer Requirements, Good Relationship with all the functions within the organization, Good Decision Making Capability, Leadership Skills.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh School Diploma or Associates or Bachelors Degree.\r\nMaterials and ERP knowledge and ability to understand the Customer requirements.\r\nCoordination Skills, Material Expedition Skills, Communication Skills, ERP Skills, Team Skills\r\nMin 5-7 years of Materials Department experience\r\nWhy Join Onto Innovation?\r\nAt Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matterand so should your well-being.
