Telehealth Clinician

Overview Third Eye Health is seeking experienced, multi-state licensed APRNs to join our telehealth team. This role involves providing weekend daytime and overnight coverage for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) nationwide.Responsibilities Conducts comprehensive assessments of patients via telehealth. The assessments include a review of medical and social history, and a limited visual physical examination.Utilizes medical knowledge including pharmacology, pathophysiology, and clinical assessment skills in the adult and geriatric population to assess, diagnose and prescribe treatment of patients.Accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters within two (2) hours of the end of a shift.Meet and complete CME for state licensure and maintain state licenses when requested by the Company.Participate in educational programs that increase clinical knowledge base and skill set and demonstrate accountability for professional practice.Maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI/PII data.Weekend and/or evening work is required.Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of customer service practices and principlesExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and be self-motivated to meet deadlines and achieve goalsHigh level of ethics, integrity, discretion, and confidentialityStrong attention to detailEducation and Experience:Internal, Family or Emergency MedicineFive (5) or more years of experience in patient care or clinical work post-residency trainingEmployment Type & Coverage Telehealth Clinician roles are offered in W2 employment or independent contractor arrangements, paid hourly with malpractice coverage included. Desired coverage includes daytime, evening, weekend and holiday hours. The ideal candidate is multi-state licensed or willing to pursue multi-state licensure.Physical Requirements An ability to perform the essential job functions consistently and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, tablet or mobile device.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Working Conditions Work will be done in the home office setting.
