Precision CNC Machining TechnicianPoclain Hydraulics is seeking a Precision CNC Machining Technician to support our MBU manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up and operating machining and heat-treat equipment, producing high-precision components, and ensuring all parts meet strict quality and process standards. We are looking for a detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and quality-driven professional who takes pride in precision work and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machining and heat-treating equipment to produce precision componentsPerform manual machining operations including de-burring, lapping, and related finishing processesLoad and support heat-treat operations as requiredInspect parts and accurately record results per process sheets and quality requirementsRead and follow work instructions, routings, and technical documentationProduce every part to the highest possible quality and within defined process standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all quality, safety, and production proceduresPerform other duties as assigned to support MBU operationsRequired Qualifications & SkillsDemonstrated ability to follow quality procedures and standardized work instructionsHands-on experience with manual machining operations (e.g., de-burring, lapping, basic finishing)Proven ability to operate selected machining equipmentBasic understanding of CNC machining concepts and processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailComfortable working in a precision manufacturing environmentReliable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused work ethicWillingness to learn and continuously improve technical skillsMust be able to speak, read, and write in EnglishPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods (minimum 8 hours) and work in a manufacturing environmentFrequent use of hands and arms to operate machines, tools, and measuring equipmentAbility to lift and move parts and materials (up to 25 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally)Ability to work safely around machining and heat-treat equipment and moving machinery
