Learn more.Purpose of JobDesign and deliver global and local learning and development programs and manage learning systems and platforms to improve individual, team, and organizational performance that supports Sasol’s International Chemicals business plan.Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for the delivery of key Learning and Development initiatives (e.g. Operator, Maintenance and SHE training and qualification programs, Leadership Development Programs, Instructional Design, Learning Management System Administration, Curriculum Development, Training Plans, New Hire Onboarding Programs, etc.)Support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development products and servicesUtilize Instructional Systems Design techniques and Adult Learning Theory in the development of learning programs and projects (Instructional Design Specialists)Support the identification and development of skills, knowledge, and abilities for the organizationConduct learning needs assessments and analysisAssist in the development of organizational policies and proceduresDesign and develop instructional material utilizing design authoring tools and in line with departmental and global governance (Instructional Design Specialists)Provide audit support, HR learning reports, and data analysis to identify business issues and improve business performanceOversee the selection and performance reviews of 3rd party training vendorsResearch and recommend course design, technology, and instruction delivery options, to include the evaluation of emerging instructional technologies and methodsProvide input for budget development cycleEstablish and maintain customer relationships and provide customer supportPursue personal and professional developmentOther projects as assignedFormal Education/ Working ExperienceUniversity Bachelor’s Degree with 5+years of Operations experience orAssocoates Degree with 8+ years of Operations experience.Prior experience leading training initiatives, coaching operators/technicians, and supporting employee development.Required Personal And Professional SkillsTraining delivery and facilitation experience in an adult learning settingTraining content and curriculum development experienceProject/Program management experienceKnowledge of Adult Learning TheoryStrong teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational, prioritization and follow through skillsPetrochemical industry experience preferredWorking knowledge of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.) preferredExperience in Learning Management System Administration preferredProficient in training development authoring tools preferred (e.g. Articulate, In-Design)Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSasol (USA) Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, disability or protected veteran status, as well as any other characteristic protected by applicable law, regulation or local ordinance.
