Position: Manufacturing Electrical EngineerLocation: Greenwood, MSType: Fulltime, Direct Hire, OnsiteAbout the jobWe are seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to collaborate closely with our manufacturing team to drive quality improvements in electromechanical products. This role is essential in identifying quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, electromechanical functions, and quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.Key Responsibilities:Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues related to electrical and electromechanical products during the manufacturing processConduct root cause analysis for product failures and develop robust corrective action plansCollaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to implement improvements in processes and product qualityAssist in the development and documentation of standardized processes and procedures to ensure consistent product qualityParticipate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and quality throughout the production lineConduct regular audits, inspections, and testing of products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standardsProvide training and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality improvement initiatives and processesMonitor and report on the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvementsDevelop and implement rigorous quality procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectationsWork closely with quality assurance teams to resolve any manufacturing issues impacting product quality, ensuring corrective actions are in placeQualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in appliance or electromechanical product manufacturingStrong understanding of electromechanical systems and their quality challengesFamiliarity with electrical process documentation (schematics, diagrams, etc.)Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorksExperience with quality improvement tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean ManufacturingAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and product specificationsStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issuesExcellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departmentsFamiliarity with sheet metal fabrication, metal forming, painting, final assembly, testing, and inspection processesExperience with gas and electrical heating systems and understanding of basic electricity principlesKnowledge of quantitative quality control methods and the ability to apply statistical analysis to improve qualityProficiency in the use of quality management tools and techniques, such as FMEA, Control Plans, and APQP
