This position supports the external and intercompany customer needs in the market by supporting independent sales representatives, regional sales managers, key accounts, and end customers.\nWhat Will You Do?\nManage day-to-day operations including timely delivery of ETO orders and quotes, customer ETO related inquiries, and channel partner ETO technical support.\n\nDrive team development, process improvements and KPI expectations through effective and proactive leadership.\nDevelop vacuum expertise personally and within the AE department.\nPrepare ETO vacuum quotations and enter vacuum orders.\nDevelop and execute standard work to reduce vacuum order complexity.\nDevelop a process to reduce time to quote by 50%.\nCross-train team on all ETO products.\nEnsure standard work is in place and being adhered to.\nManage performance evaluation process, team development and succession planning.\nOther duties as assigned per the Mechanical Engineering Manager\nObserve all Howden safety standards and ensure department compliance.\n\nYour Physical Work Environment Will Require…\nGeneral Office environment, standing, sitting, stooping, walking, etc as necessary\nComputer skills and consistent work at desk and working on a computer for long periods of time\nManufacturing site requires PPE when on the shop floor, ie Steel Toe Boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc\nYour Experience Should Be...\nBachelors Engineering degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline\nMinimum of 2 years in a sales/process engineering role\nAbility to obtain and maintain a proficient level of product/service/customer base knowledge.\nEase in establishing and maintaining productive relationships both internally and externally\nExperience in leading, developing and mentoring a professional team, providing hands-on support and influence through a continuous improvement mindset\nStrong written and oral communication skills – an active listener with proven collaboration skills.\nHigh competency w/ Microsoft Office Products: Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint\nAccomplished multi-tasker able to prioritize large volume of activity\nDemonstrated technical know-how, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude\nDesirable\n\nExperience with continuous improvement tools.\nMRP / Baan business systems\n\nThis is an onsite position.
