Manager, Accounting (Arena)

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting activities in San Francisco, California. This role will oversee accurate financial reporting, guide the month-end close process, and strengthen general ledger integrity across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders. For immediate consideration, please contact Leon Chang directly via Linked-In.Responsibilities:Own full accounting for assigned entities; main contact for accounting mattersEnsure accurate financials; manage GL, close, and reconciliationsReview work for GAAP compliance and audit readiness; support auditsHandle complex accounting (revenue, accruals) and contract reviewsEnsure compliance with GAAP, League, and company policiesPartner with FP& A, Legal, and Ops on transactions and reportingMonitor activity to capture all revenue/expenses timelyDrive process improvements, automation, and system projects (UAT, data flows)Maintain SOPs for consistency and efficiencyBachelor’s in Accounting; CPA preferred5+ years accounting experience; strong US GAAP (NBA reporting a plus)ERP systems experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP); advanced ExcelStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsDetail-oriented with high accuracyEffective communicator; able to multitask and work independentlyExperience in fast-paced environments; system implementation exposure a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
