Key responsibilities include tracking new requirements as they come into the Portfolio Management process; compiling data and preparing reports and briefing products for a Director-level Requirements Decision Board; capturing relevant Board meeting minutes for record; assisting in developing official policy and governance documents related to the Command IT enterprise; and proposing innovative methods and procedures for facilitating and enhancing the overall team’s productivity.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nSupport enterprise IT Requirements process activities and related Portfolio and Program Management activities\nSupport the development and staffing of strategic communication products (e.g., briefings, information papers, talking points, and other artifacts) for Senior Leaders\nParticipate in cross-functional meetings and workgroups\nProvide input to and/or submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.\nWHAT YOU WILL NEED:\nEducation and/or Certifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience; OR High School equivalent and 8+ years of experience in a military IT environment.\nDesired:\nExperience in Information Technology Systems, Information Resource Management, Management, or a related field\nITIL Foundation and/or Project Management Professional Certification\nRequired Skills:\nPossess strong critical thinking and communication skills\nAbility to work independently or in small group to analyze requirements, prepare course of actions and recommendations\nAbility to work closely with stakeholders at all levels to include senior leaders\nExperience in IT planning\nAbility to quickly analyze assigned tasks, determine requirements, coordinate input, and develop products\nStrong proficiency with MS365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Teams in a collaborative environment\nAbility to deliver client-ready products (i.e., professional, accurate, grammatically correct)\nAbility to multitask, prioritize, and apply other time management skills to operate effectively in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment\nDesired Skills:\nKnowledge of DoD IT environment; USCENTCOM preferred\nExperience with Combatant Command structure and mission set; USCENTCOM preferred\nFamiliarity with current technologies and concepts (e.g., cloud, zero trust, data visualizations)\nFamiliarity with Chief Information Office Responsibilities and concepts (e.g., Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, Process Improvement, Cybersecurity)\nFamiliarity with basic DoD accounting functions (i.e., Spend Plan, POM, FYDP, etc.,)\n\nClearance Requirement:\n\nActive TS/SCI clearance is required.\nWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology and the ability to make a real impact on the world around you.\nNot sure this job’s the one for you?
