Join Catapult Learning and become a part of a national organization with a legacy of more than 45 years of student impact.\nTeachers will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for K-8 students.\nPayrate: Catapult Learning will pay non-licensed tutors $30.00 an hour and licensed tutors $40.00 an hour.\nPart–time positions available.\nEssential duties and responsibilities include the following:\nDiagnoses learning skill deficits and delivers prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company\nConsults with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students\nCommunicates and conferences with parents providing information on student progress\nDeliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company\nAttend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students through the utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.\nDevelops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.\nEnsures supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.\nEstablishes and maintains student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.\nAttends and documents meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.\nMaintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nNon-licensed tutors: individuals with an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).\nLicensed tutors: teachers with proper credentials recognized by the State of Ohio as Properly Licensed Teacher.\nTeaching experience preferred.\n\nPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:\nLight lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.\n\nCatapult provides all classroom and instructional materials as well as prepared lesson plans and paid training. Continued instructional and leadership support for all employees is also provided.\nTeachers must complete an FBI/BCI background check.\nBe where you’re meant to be.
