Test Technician

Job Overview The Test Technician position involves conducting tests and inspections on a variety of electronic and mechanical products to ensure quality and functionality. Duties - Utilize precision measuring instruments to perform tests on electronic components - Conduct quality inspections on products using automated optical inspection equipment - Test automation systems to streamline testing processes - Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings for testing purposes - Perform tests using ohmmeters and calipers - Conduct quality inspections based on IPC 610 standards - Utilize surface mount technology for testing electronic components Requirements - Proficiency in using ohmmeters, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments - Familiarity with test automation systems and automated optical inspection equipment - Knowledge of mechanical components and ability to interpret schematics - Experience in quality inspection following IPC 610 standards - Understanding of surface mount technology for electronic component testing Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract Pay: $23.78 - $24.61 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: TEST TECHNICIAN: 1 year (Preferred) Electrical troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred) test equipment: 2 years (Preferred) Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
