Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.\nShift: Back End Days 6am – 6pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternate Wednesday)\nJob Description\nThe WF Optics First Line Support team will:\nWork in hands-on environment with technicians to troubleshoot and document interruptions on the production floor\nFunction as initial escalation point for issues pertaining to:\nPolishing\nMachining/Generating\nContacting\nCoating\nBonding\nLithography/Etching\nInterferometry\nAdvanced Correction (MRF, IBF)\nDevelop and implement short-term containments and structural solutions for production issues\nEscalate structural process/procedural issues to Competency Production Engineering team and serve as consultant for solution space\nFunction in consulting role, representing work floor, for:\nProduct, process, and tool development\nActivities pertaining to excellence metrics:\nCycle Time\nLabor Hours\nCapital Expenditures\nLean/Value Stream Exercises\nEducation\nA Bachelor degree in engineering or engineering technology (Mechanical, Optical, Electrical, Chemical , Industrial, Manufacturing, Imaging)\nA Bachelor of Science in Physic, Chemistry are also considered.\nExperience\n0-1 years’ work experience in a high-tech, production environment\nExperience in optical fabrication/assembly processes, in any/all disciplines\nHistory of completing individual and team-oriented tasks under tight deadlines\nUnderstand and be able to interpret mechanical blueprints\nUnderstand and be able to interpret tolerancing and specification from blueprints\nPersonal Skills\nStrong sense of ownership and personal accountability\nAdaptability to changing processes and plans in a high-pressure, dynamic work environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to analyze data, identify critical content, and drive discussion/action with various stakeholders\nContext of the Position\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
