D.P.I. is a day program for adult Individuals with developmental delays and disabilities.\nIn this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and success of a wide range of entertainment, educational, daily living skill building, and leisure events ensuring individuals have memorable and enriching experiences.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate and manage daily recreational and weekly activities, including community outings, themed celebrations, and special functions.\nCreate recreational programs based on individuals served interests and care plans, coordinate outings and events, purchase and budget for outings and events, doccument success rate of activities and purchasing costs.\nDeliver exceptional care engaging with individuals, addressing their needs, and enhancing their overall experience.\nHandle cash transactions accurately during events, manage ordering/supply procedures, and maintain financial records.\nWrite detailed reports on event outcomes, individuals and staff feedback, and operational issues to inform future planning.\nCollaborate with management utilizing care plans for Individuals to select and create best recreational activities per individual.\nProven experience with Individuals served, adls, care giving, CNA,DSP, and event planning preferred.\nExcellent report writing skills for documenting event details and IDD notes.\nExceptional communication skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanor.\nJoin us as a Recreation Coordinator to bring energy, creativity, and compassion to our Individuals!
