Learn more at www.REIsystems.com.Employees voted REI Systems a Washington Post Top Workplace in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025!ResponsibilitiesParticipating as a core member of the Agile team across all planning, analysis, design, development, and testing activities.Work with Lead in design, code, code inspections, and test inspections throughout the life cycle in developing and modernizing large applications.Coordinate closely with peers to ensure proper implementation of system specifications and integration of the new development with the complete system.Applying US Web Design System (USWDS) standards to deliver consistent, user-focused experiences for federal or public-facing digital services.Design and maintain reusable, modular Angular components and libraries shared across multiple projects.Work with complex data and understand the current technologies available for data analysis, processing, integration, and visualization.Collaborate with Business Analysts, test teams, and leads and provide documentation for customer deliverables.Develop estimates for design and implementation based on level of effort and relative sizing depending on complexity of the requirements.Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) in government-authorized cloud environments.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code versioning (Git).Comply with CMMI level 3 and project level processes to improve efficiency and consistency of all deliverables.Guide and mentor junior software engineers within the project.QualificationsHands-on experience with Angular is required for this role.Knowledge and experiences with the following technologies and tools: Single-Sign-On, Exadata, Git, Jira, SonarQube.Experience with PostgreSQL is required.Solid understanding of Modern Web Application Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, Mobile Application Development, DevOps, and Agile development methodology.Experiences with Cloud technologies and Low Code/No Code Development are desired.Good troubleshooting and debugging skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task.Good verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives.Education and CertificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or another related field.
