The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise along with experience in complementary technologies within a structured, compliance-driven environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications supporting government and enterprise systems\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and system administrators to deliver high-quality solutions\nDevelop and integrate APIs to support interoperability and secure data exchange\nContribute to system architecture, technical design, and documentation efforts\nEnsure application performance, security, and reliability through adherence to best practices\nSupport application deployment through CI/CD pipelines and automation tools\nTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system defects and production issues\nEnsure compliance with government standards, policies, and security requirements\n\nRequired Minimum Qualifications:\n\nSecret clearance, TS eligibility\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field\n5 yrs of experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Java (JDK 8 or higher)\nCore understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles\nExperience with:\nJava Collections Framework\nMultithreading and concurrency\nException handling best practices\nHands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks\nExperience with Hibernate/JPA for database interactions\nFamiliarity with API integrations (RESTful and web services)\nHands-on experience with Eclipse IDE\nFamiliarity with IntelliTrack Entellitrak platform\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes\nExperience supporting enterprise-level or government systems\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including:\n.NET framework\nC#, Visual Basic (VB)\nExperience with SQL Server 2017 (or newer) and T-SQL\n\nNice to Have Qualifications:\n\nExperience with reporting and UI tools such as Jaspersoft Studio and DevExpress\nFamiliarity with hybrid technology environments integrating Java and .NET solutions\nExperience working in Agile or hybrid development environments\nKnowledge of secure coding practices and government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git\nExperience with relational databases and data modeling\n\nWork Environment\n\nAbility to work effectively in a structured, compliance-driven environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nCommitment to delivering secure, high-quality, and maintainable solutions\n\nIn addition, U.S Citizenship is required.
