This role requires reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership of work while collaborating closely with Project Designers and Engineers. Designers are expected to manage their time effectively, maintain professional conduct, and engage in the design process with attention to detail and accuracy.\nDesign & Documentation Support\nDevelop and produce detailed mechanical drawings in alignment with project standards and applicable codes.\nCreate full sets of drawings in Revit, including:\nSetting up models and drawing sheets.\nEditing and applying view templates.\nUsing integrated tools, add-ins, and symbol legends.\nCoordinating with structural, electrical, and architectural elements.\nEnsuring compliance with EP design standards and code requirements.\nTechnical Design Tasks\nPerform HVAC load calculations and mechanical equipment selection.\nLayout and size ductwork, hydronic piping, and gas piping systems.\nLayout and size plumbing systems including water, waste, vent, and storm.\nDraft legible riser diagrams for plumbing systems.\nComplete mechanical equipment schedules and coordinate selections.\nConduct initial review of shop drawings and respond to RFIs.\nApply applicable codes to design work and project planning.\nDocument Production & Coordination\nProduce accurate and consistent construction documents following EP drafting standards.\nUse tools such as Revit, Bluebeam, and Trane TRACE700.\nMaintain clean and organized design records and proper file management.\nCommunicate clearly across disciplines, both internally and externally.\nReview personal work for accuracy and using established checklists and coordinate with other trades.\nProfessional Responsibility and Team Engagement\nMaintain reliable and consistent work hours and professional appearance.\nStay focused on tasks, meet deadlines, and manage own calendar.\nParticipate actively in meetings and contribute a collaborative team environment.\nBuild relationships with product reps through collaboration, discussion, and attending lunch and learns.\nTake ownership of assigned work and ask for support when needed.\nBalance work responsibilities with personal well-being.\nRequirements:\nAuthorization to work in the US.
