This role contributes to system design, software development, integration, testing, and technical documentation within a structured engineering environment.\n\n*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*\n\n· Analyze complex electrical systems and support electrical design, architecture, procurement, and testing\n· Integrate electrical components into complex hardware and software systems\n· Support electrical installation, maintenance, documentation, and testing activities\n· Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on user requirements\n· Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems based on documented requirements\n· Support software architecture decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, and COTS/GOTS solutions\n· Perform requirements analysis and translate system-level requirements into software components\n· Design, implement, integrate, and test software applications\n· Apply appropriate software engineering and development methodologies\n· Develop and execute test scripts based on test cases and scenarios\n· Review software components for compliance with design requirements and document test results\n· Support risk management, cost and schedule control, and software project delivery\n· Apply industry standards and repeatable processes to software development activities\n\n*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*\n\n· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field\n· Experience with software development, integration, and testing\n· Experience developing test scripts from test cases and test scenarios\n· Understanding of software engineering methodologies and development processes\n· Experience with requirements analysis and software system design\n· Knowledge of hardware/software integration and electrical systems\n· Familiarity with COTS/GOTS solutions and software reuse\n· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\n· Strong written and verbal communication skills\n\n*IDEAL CANDIDATE:*\n\nThe ideal candidate combines software development and test automation experience with an understanding of electrical and hardware/software integration. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical engineering programs is highly desirable.\n\n*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:*\n\nThe position is primarily performed in a professional office and engineering environment and requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and operate standard office and technical equipment.
