{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"287d234f83ed850d5bb88df7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/287d234f83ed850d5bb88df7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/287d234f83ed850d5bb88df7","title":"Support Field Tech (customer facing)/Tech Support/IT Tech/PC Support","description":"Account Support Field Engineer (customer facing)\nPhoenix, AZ 85010\nDuration: 12+ months\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for resolving hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures in support of customer’s data centers.\nMust have a vehicle for transportation (and be up to date on vehicle insurance, inspection, registration per their state standards).\nMust be willing to travel from customer to customer when necessary.\nMust be able to work overtime if you are in an installation or rack/stack event.\nMust be able to work weekends with advanced notice due to a customer installation schedule.\nTasks include, but are not limited to:\nAnalyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues within IT infrastructure including HPE Enterprise systems, servers, storage, and networking.\nUnderstanding of a Data Center IT Operations environment and the knowledge to use software tools to perform day-to-day functions and troubleshooting\nAble to perform high volume/low impact tasks in an efficient and knowledgeable manner.\nProvide installation and or break/fix support including component replacement, hardware troubleshooting, and operating system installation.\nAble to proficiently perform data center support tasks with little guidance.\nDemonstrate hands-on practical knowledge of systems and policies.\nOperational management tasks including, working to resolve escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued delivery of datacenter support activities\nRequirements:\nMust have a basic understanding of Storage theory, Server layout and Network concepts.\nMust have mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures to make component level repairs using ESD best practices.\nRequires good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.\nMust be familiar with using different computer applications and be able to navigate software tools as required by task at hand.\nMust possess professional written and verbal communication skills\nMust be organized and able to document daily activities\nMust maintain successful communication and working relationship with management & peers of all levels.\nTeamwork and interpersonal skills\nMust be willing to work outside of standard business hours and weekends.\nMust be willing to travel for out of state projects.\nEducation and other requirements:\nExperience with pallet jack and data center server lifting tools is a plus.
