Snowflake / Sigma BI Developer (Contract)

Fincons Group is seeking a contractor with strong Snowflake and BI experience to support data visualization and reporting initiatives. This role will focus on building dashboards and interactive reporting solutions using Sigma, while leveraging Snowflake SQL, APIs, and JSON-based data structures.The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working directly with business and technical stakeholders, and able to build scalable reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain BI dashboards, layouts, controls, and user actions within SigmaDevelop and optimize Snowflake SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needsWork with JSON payloads to structure and transform data for integrations and reportingUtilize Sigma’s “Call API” functionality to connect external systems and automate workflowsPartner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutionsTroubleshoot and improve dashboard performance, data accuracy, and usabilitySupport ongoing enhancements and maintenance of Snowflake-based reporting environmentsQualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowflake SQLExperience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Sigma (preferred)Solid understanding of BI and data visualization conceptsFamiliarity working with JSON data structures and payload manipulationUnderstanding of REST APIs and API integration conceptsAbility to work independently in a contractor environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience integrating BI platforms with external APIsExperience working in cloud-based data environmentsFamiliarity with media, entertainment, or enterprise reporting environments is a plusPowered by JazzHR
