Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited UniversityValid Texas Teacher Certificate in any Science 7-12/8-12 or eligible for employment through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP).Eligible ACP candidates must also meet ACP requirements and pass TExES examination(s) required for this position.Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assignedSpecial Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of academic subject assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorStrong organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsCALENDAR: 187 work days
