Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of accounting principles to manage complex financial tasks and support organizational goals. This role requires leadership capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee a variety of complex accounting tasks and financial analyses Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in daily operations Prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations Lead and mentor junior accounting staff Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of accounting processes Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making Required Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (required for Senior Accountant applicants) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and accomplish complex tasks Solid knowledge of GAAP, accounting standards, and procedures Ability to lead the work of others with a high degree of creativity and initiative Physical ability to lift, push, and pull at least 5 lbs. and stand for up to 1 hour per day Preferred Skills & Experience Prior experience in hospital or healthcare accounting Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft Financial and/or Lawson Education & Certifications Required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Required: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation Benefits: Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
